About Me

Chuck Langdon leads the Boulder Tuesday evening online Sangha for the Insight Meditation Community of Colorado.

He has been meditating for more than 30 years and has attended more than 50 residential retreats at centers and monasteries throughout the United States and England. He graduated from the two-year Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program (led by Jack Kornfield & Tara Brach) in 2021. He began formally teaching the Dhamma in 2017.

His teachings have been primarily informed by the Pali Canon and his direct experience with Theravada teachers, both lay and monastic. Most significantly, those include: David Chernikoff, David Loy, Tara-Lloyd Burton, Leigh Brasington, Kim Allen, Jack Kornfield, Tara Brach, Kittisaro, Thanissaro Bhikkhu, Ajahn Amaro, Ajahn Pasanno, Ajahn Succito, Ajahn Metta, Bhikkhu Cintita, and Bhikkhu Anālayo.

Chuck currently works as a Usability Analyst (UX Researcher), which means he tries to make software easier to use. He attended Phillips Exeter Academy, the University of Chicago for his BA, and got his MS in Human-Centered Design and Engineering at the University of Washington in Seattle.

He lives in Boulder, Colorado, with his lovely wife, Sara. When he’s not reading Buddhist books, giving Dhamma talks, or hiking, he’s often out training (as mindfully as possible) for long-distance mountain runs and triathlons.
